Recently I received an email from a subscriber. He asked ... I'm attempting to attract what I want but I continuously feel afraid and anxious. On top of that there are a build-up of bad habits, lack conditioning, low self-esteem and usually focus on my previous failures. What can I do? The Law of Attraction is a wonderful tool for positive manifestation in your experience.
First off, I highly commend this person for posing this question. Number one, he acknowledges that these are his active thoughts and feelings. Many people I meet working with the Law of Attraction, including the self-titled 'spiritual' ones, refuse to accept that they have any of this active in their energy. It would not be spiritual in the end. Please!
It's of utmost importance to know what is happening in your thinking and own it. The fact that you think and feel this way shows that it is present in your vibration. You will continue attracting situations that mirror back to you reasons to experience anxiety and dissapointment. Using the Law of Attraction is amazingly powerful for Relationship Attraction, and is not hard to understand.
Einstein said: No problem can be solved from the exact level of consciousness that manifested it. He meant tapping into the a greater level of functioning. Personally this entails releasing into Universal Love and Abundance, or the Divine unifying power of Source. Would it not be wonderful if we could just flip a switch and let go and let God, as they say? Easier theorized than put into practice most of the time for most of us. However, you can begin by committing to a daily exercise of looking for aspects of your life to be grateful for. Look for the love and goodness in your life as it is right now. That is a huge and immediate vibration raiser.
If you can work to be ok with where you are you will instantly be releasing resistance to what you desire. Don't worry that being ok with your current circumstances will bring more of it to you. It will not. But you will be doing the very important step of letting go of resistance. You see, prolonged attention on your circumstances is causing you to create more of that same stuff. So easing up a bit and searching for aspects in your life to appreciate will soften your vibration. You cannot have your attention on a thing and exclude it from your vibration.
After you've solidified what you want to attract into your life, the next step is to find out what thoughts and feelings you actually have around the likelihood of your creating what you desire. Is self-worth part of it? Is your track record and the past receiving your attention? I suggest journaling what is active in your beliefs and then making affirmations that soften little by little until you can perceive what it is like to already be feeling what you want as if it is your present life experience.
