In the most basic sense of the word manifestation refers to one’s ability to control the direction of their own life. In a more powerful form it is the ability to tap into the power of the mind to create the results that you want. Just like many of the mind’s abilities, we are all born with an innate sense of such skills and we stop developing them when we are very young.

You can find many suggestions online concerning how to increase your power of manifestation. Some experts think that the foods we consume directly influences our intuitive abilities as well as the ability to tap into our senses, while others say that it only requires a heightened sense of awareness.

Let’s say, for example, that you’re sick. Perhaps you’ve been told that your body is sick because it’s ‘all in your mind,’or at least that your mind is as much responsible for your illness as your body is. And maybe you even believe this and decide, for example, that you’re going to get over your cold before that party you want to go to. Did it work? Or, for example, if someone has said to you that you should focus on you want and that you’ll get it, have you done so? And, did you get what you wanted? Chances are, you’ve had that happen you at least a couple of times, and that is indeed you harnessing your own powers of manifestation. Because again, the fact is, we all have intuitive powers, and we all tap into them and use them at least to some extent on a regular basis. Why do we fail to use them and all of the benefits they can provide us on a regular basis, then? Because our minds are so busy processing a lot of useless information.

For instance, how many times have you heard that healing your body depends on your frame of mind as well as your body? How many times have you heard that you can get what you want by focusing on that desire? All of these are forms of manifestation. We have and use these natural and intuitive senses on a regular basis. However, since we clog our minds with useless information, we fail to use them to get the rewards we seek.

Let’s say, for example, that you’re addicted to video games. How much time do you have to spend on what you really want to do and what you want your larger life purpose to be, or on what you want your life to be like, if you’re always playing video games? And by contrast, if you spend your time focusing on what you really want to do with your life — including thinking about it, researching and finding resources for it, and focusing on how alive you feel when you are ‘tapped into’your life’s purpose, how much different do you think things are going to be? Once you become aware of this skill, the more likely you are to be able to focus on it and enhance it. And the more you can focus on it and enhance it, the more likely you are to be able to use its power to get what you want. A as you continue to work with it, you’ll develop it to a greater and greater degree.

If you spend all your spare time with gaming, you only feed your mind material for the game. You clog your mind with gaming information rather than tapping the ability to focus and learn how to tap into your natural abilities. On the other hand, if you spend your time reading, learning and practicing, you then feed your mind the information it needs to help you gain and improve your skills of manifestation. It all relates to one another. The more focus you give to it, the more able you will become to tap into its power. The more you tap into its power the better able you are to develop it further.

However, if we take the time to develop our ability to clear our mind and tap into our own sense and ability we will find that we become literally much more focused and capable of completing what we are looking for.

Being able to tap into our own mind and grab our own senses becomes a lifestyle, not just the occasional endeavor. We are all able to develop our mind the way we want to but it does require a certain amount of chronic discipline. If it was an overnight process, we would all be able to think our life into a better place.
