Remember, it’s not the most ‘religious’ person you know. It’s the most enlightened, connected, aware, thoughtful, intentional person you know.
If you’re wondering, I am speaking from experience. Yes, I used to be one of those people. If I made ,875 one month I’d bitch about how I didn’t make ,000 and that with just another 5 I would have made it. I’d curse my rotten luck instead of being thankful that I actually made that kind of money sitting in front of a computer in my robe.
Most marketers don’t have a CLUE how good they have it. They don’t have to get up in the morning and fight traffic to get to a dirty J.O.B. where they are working for an even dirtier B.O.S.S. I used to do that and let me tell you, I’d rather somebody sent me on a one way trip to Siberia than ever work for somebody else again.
Let me make this perfectly clear. I’m not talking about burying your head in the sand and pretending that bad things don’t exist and don’t happen. What I’m talking about is looking at the situation and trying to make the best out of it.
For example. A site of yours goes down for the day. Okay, it happens. Instead of moaning about it, how about doing this? Go online and do some niche research for a possible second site. That way, if one site goes down, you have another income stream to fall back on.
Many positive things that have happened to my business have come out of negative events because I was forced to look at alternatives. I didn’t sit there and complain about what went wrong. Instead, I thought about how I could get something positive out of the situation.
Try it sometime. It may take a while for your face to get used to the smile it’s wearing
